Happy Halloween from the Gallaher Zoo!!!

So now that fall is here, it's costume time!!! Choosing costumes was easy this year. You see, Audrey as a newborn was nicknamed "our little peacock" due to her hair standing up and fanning out at the crown of her head - just like a peacock's feathers. And then there's Mason, our extremely smart, curious, wild-at-times, banana-loving little "monkey." Add to them our other two "wild animals," plus Mommy the Zookeeper and Daddy the Veterinarian, and we have ourselves a full-fledged Zoo!
So, TA-DAH.......

Fall is finally here!

Beautiful autumn leaves...

Pumpkins...

This is the door hanger my friend and I made out of burlap,  craft paint and ribbons.  I'm pretty proud of it :)

And then there's this cute little pumpkin!

And, of course, we can't forget football...

Another next-generation Dr. Gallaher

Dr. and little Dr. Gallaher, when Mason was around 5 month's old:

And now, introducing the newest Dr. Gallaher:
Audrey in Mason's hand-me-down "scrubs"... she's following in Daddy's and big brother's footsteps :)

p.s. Thanks again to Cyndi for buying these adorable scrubs. They even say "Hospital Emergency Staff"- so appropriate! Great find, Cyndi!!!

And here's my favorite:

"I'm afraid I've got some bad news..."

Fun at Home Depot

Little green balls

As most of you know, "ball" is Mason's favorite word. Well, when I was feeding him English Peas the other day, he noticed they were "balls" :) I was pretty impressed he made that association! Pretty astute, if I do say so myself. Anyway, this is him and his classic face as he says "bowwwlllllll"

Learning new things...

Mason is learning new things every day! Here are some he's learned recently...

My handsome little fellow (well, this is nothing new...just pretty cute, so I included it)

learning to point with his pointer finger

learning to eat with a spoon

still trying to figure out the whole spoon thing

"hold on there Bella..." (learning to stand alone)

discovered and loves to point out belly buttons

learning to play with sister

Mason with pacifier....
